This large cathedral in Chicagos outer suburbs is now in a derelict state, with large sections of the roof collapsing. Graffiti covers most of the interior walls, and debris from years of neglect litters the floors. Once a place of worship, it now stands abandoned - a stark reminder of religious decline. Yet, despite the decay, there is a peaceful beauty in its stillness and the way the outside light filters through its stained glass windows.
