The sparse inner Mongolian region of Ordos, Northern China.  Towering, incomplete structures loom on the outskirts of Kangbashi, a municipality built to house the thousands of relocated farmers that never arrived.  Appearing as thriving mini cities from a distance, these empty clusters of incomplete film set style apartment blocks have been left to crumble and decay in the harsh desert climate.   These structures are the central focus of a work that explores the irony of empty urban space in the worlds most populated country,
